Uptown Drive-By Shooting Leaves Man In Critical Condition
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was critically wounded Saturday in a drive-by shooting in broad daylight in Uptown.
At 11:26 a.m., the 21-year-old man was in a vehicle in the 900 block of West Montrose Avenue when a sport-utility vehicle went by and someone inside shot him.
The victim self-transported to Weiss Memorial Hospital in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the back.
No one was in custody Saturday afternoon. Area Three detectives were investigating.
