Unusual Spectator As Neighborhood Kids Play Ball
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Six-year-old Max Kent wound up to deliver the pitch, doing what many boys do on a summer day.
Mom was there, doing what moms do on a summer day, taking lots of pictures, as the group of five kids took up an intense game of neighborhood ball.
Crystal Yednak wasn't the only interested spectator, however.
Did you notice in the picture (above) who was sitting across the street?
Here is a closer look.
Yednak, of Munster, Ind., said the deer sat there the whole time, like "a chill dog."
Deer are common in that part of town, near Bieker Woods, and the animals are quite used to human behavior in the neighborhood.
And the deer, apparently, are quite amused by us.
