Temps flirt with 90 degrees in Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS) — Conditions will be dry and warm in the Chicago area through next weekend as a strong ridge of high pressure overhead blocks any weather systems from moving this way.

Each day will feature a light lake breeze, keeping areas near the shore a few degrees cooler than inland areas. 

Fall begins Sunday, Sept. 22 at 7:43 a.m. That brings the next chance of showers, but it is a weak system without a lot of moisture content.
