Two Wounded In Shooting On Dan Ryan Expressway; Southbound Local Lanes Reopen

CHICAGO (CBS) -- The local lanes of the southbound Dan Ryan Expressway have reopened, after they were closed for more than three hours, following a shooting in Englewood.

Illinois State Police said, shortly after 4:45 p.m., two people were shot in the southbound local lanes near 59th Street.

The victims were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

All southbound local lanes near 59th Street were closed after the shooting, but reopened by 8:10 p.m., police said.

Further information on the shooting was not immediately available.
