Two Wounded In I-57 Shooting
(CBS) -- Two people were wounded early Saturday morning in a shooting along I-57 in the south suburbs, reports WBBM's Mike Krauser.
State Police say three people were in a car heading north on I-57 and 138th Street when shots were fired from another vehicle. Two people were wounded and the driver crashed.
A short time later, police in Markham several miles away, were responding to a call of shots fired when they pursued a vehicle believed to have been involved the shooting on I-57. That car crashed at 79th and State in Markham and police arrested two suspects.
According to State Police, they recovered weapons believed to match the caliber of bullet casings that were found on I-57.
