Two In Custody For Stabbing/Slashing Attack In Portage Park

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two people were in custody on Monday, after a young woman and a young man were stabbed or slashed in the Portage Park neighborhood, and fled to a local McDonald's.
WBBM Newsradio's Bernie Tafoya reports a 17-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man were attacked in an apartment in the 3700 block of North Cicero Avenue around 6 a.m. Monday.
They ran to a nearby McDonald's at the corner of Cicero and Addison Street, where employees called 911.
A Fire Department spokesperson said the victims were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in fair to serious condition.
Police said the young woman suffered cuts to her face and head. The man had cuts on his neck and hands.
Two people were in custody early Monday, but no charges had been filed yet.
