Twitter Reacts To Cutler Signing
(CBS) Jay Cutler is in Chicago for the long haul, that much we know.
General manager Phil Emery and the Bears announced Thursday they have signed the 30-year-old quarterback to a seven-year contract that will seemingly keep Cutler in Chicago for the rest of his career.
After the announcement, fans and media analysts reacted on Twitter to the signing:
Jay Cutler getting that long an extension is one of the dumbest personnel moves a team has ever made.

Bears signing Jay Cutler to long-term deal is the ONLY thing to do. Anyone doubting that doesn't know football.

The 7-yr length of Jay Cutler's deal w Bears is to help salary-cap; guaranteed money is the key. Pay little attn to total amount of $.
