Twins-White Sox Game Postponed Due To Rain
(CBS) Tonight's game between the Twins and White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field has been postponed due to rain being in the forecast.
It will be rescheduled for Saturday as part of a straight doubleheader. The first game will begin at 3:10 p.m., with the the second game starting approximately 30 minutes after the first game but not before the regularly scheduled 6:10 p.m. start.
All tickets for tonight's game now become gift certificates that can be used for any future regular-season home game, including future seasons.
Tonight's scheduled pitching matchup had been Minnesota's Phil Hughes against Chicago's Jose Quintana.
