CHICAGO (CBS) -- A woman was in custody Wednesday afternoon, after carrying a rifle into Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago, prompting an hours-long lockdown.

Police said SWAT officers responded to a domestic-related incident at the building at 401 N. Wabash. shortly after 11:15 a.m. A source said the entire building was placed on lockdown, with no one allowed in or out, due to a woman with a rifle in the hotel portion of Trump Tower.

Officers partially blocked off streets around the building, and at least two armored SWAT trucks were on site for more than three hours.

Around 3 p.m., police confirmed the woman had been taken into custody, and was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
