Trick-Or-Treaters At NW Side Mars Factory Get Their Fill Of Free Candy
CHICAGO (CBS) -- It's the ultimate Halloween treat, a bag full of Mars candy, free. It was handed out directly from the Northwest Side's factory, reports WBBM's Bob Roberts.
What's a little rain? It wasn't enough to wash out a tradition that goes back more than 40 years. Some brought a bag, others a cup or jack-o-lantern and left with them filled with delicious Mars candy.
Many, adults and kids alike, came dressed in costume but after going through the line at Mars, every other stop is just a piece of candy.
