Trestman: Bears Face Challenge With Jets' Running Game
(CBS) -- Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall are both expected to play tonight against the New York Jets in a primetime Monday night matchup.
Bears coach Marc Trestman confirmed the status of the two wide receivers in an interview this morning with WBBM Newsradio's Josh Liss.
Trestman also said his defense will face two key challenges: containing the Jets' top-notch running game and keeping quarterback Geno Smith contained in the pocket.
The Jets' defense also brings its own set of issues for the Bears. Trestman said the unit is so athletic that it seems as if they are playing 12 or 13 players.
