Three Shot Outside Merrillville Nightclub
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Three people were shot early Monday at a nightclub in Merrillville, Indiana.
Police were called to Rain Ultra Club, 1500 E. 83rd Av., as the club was closing at 3 a.m., to assist with a crowd of several hundred people loitering in the parking lot.
As officers were trying to disperse the crowd, shots were fired. Once police cleared the scene and gaining control of the situation, officers discovered three people had been shot.
All three victims were taken to hospitals, but their conditions were not available.
Police said victims and witnesses were not being cooperative, telling investigators they did not hear or see anything.
