Three Men Charged In $25,000 Vandalism Spree In Roselle
(CBS) -- Three men, accused of causing $25,000 in damage to homes, businesses and numerous vehicles, have been charged with criminal damage to property, reports WBBM's Kimberly Easton.
Roselle Police say in June, 20-year-old Christopher Geldmeyer and 19-year-olds David Henry and Damar Elerby went on a vandalism spree that damaged 24 cars, a boat, a motorcycle, two garage doors, a building a home and even a port-a-potty.
"I can honestly say I have been here 28 years and I have never seen one incident where there has been this much damage and to this many people at the same time," said Roselle Police Sergeant John Lawson.
Police released Geldmeyer after he posted 10 percent of his $50,000 bond. The other two, who couldn't make bond, remain in DuPage County Jail.
