Teen in critical condition after being shot in eye in Woodlawn
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A teenage boy is in critical condition after he was shot in the eye in Chicago's Woodlawn neighborhood Saturday afternoon.
Police say the 16-year-old was in a home in the 1400 block of East 62nd Place around 4:15 p.m. when someone came in through the door and shot him.
The victim was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center.
No one is in custody. Area One detectives are investigating.
