15-Year-Old Boy Fatally Shot In Wentworth Gardens

CHICAGO (CBS)-- A 15-year-old boy was fatally shot in Wentworth Gardens just before 3 a.m. Sunday.

Shots rang out near 38th Street and Princeton Avenue.

Police said the teen was standing in the courtyard of a building when shots were fired.

The teen was hit in the chest. He was transported to University of Chicago Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police are still looking for the shooter.
