Suspect In Custody In Willowbrook Home Invasion, Sexual Assault
(CBS) -- Willowbrook police say a suspect is in custody in connection with a home invasion last weekend in which a woman was stabbed and sexually assaulted.
The suspect was taken into custody in South Bend, Indiana and is being interviewed by investigators, police say.
The attack happened on Saturday when the woman was walking to her car. The suspect asked for money, then forced his way into her home, sexually assaulted her and stabbed her.
Police found what they believe to be the suspect's car in Brookfield on Monday. A $5,000 reward has been offered for information on the attack.
