Suspect In Custody After Elmhurst Bank Robbery

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Authorities have taken a suspect into custody after a bank robbery Saturday afternoon in west suburban Elmhurst.

The robbery happened at 12:11 p.m. at the Bank of America branch at 205 N. Addison St. in Elmhurst, according to FBI spokesman Garrett Croon.

The suspect, a black man thought to be in his 20s, who was wearing a black face mask, jacket and black gloves, did not show a weapon during the robbery, the FBI said.

He was in custody Saturday afternoon, Croon said. Further details were not immediately available.
