A few storms could be strong, producing gusty winds. The best chance for strong storms will be for areas south of Chicago.

The front will spill in cooler and drier air for the Holiday Weekend. Saturday's highs will be in the mid-80s, but they will be less humid.

Then, a second front arrives early Sunday, pushing highs to the mid-70s in the afternoon.

Low 70s and mostly sunny skies are expected for Labor Day Monday.

Although the weekend forecast looks nearly perfect, a strong northeast wind will make swimming and boating at Lake Michigan dangerous.
