A few showers for Chicago Monday ahead of storm chances Tuesday

CHICAGO (CBS) — A weak disturbance over the Chicago area may touch off a few showers until sunset Sunday. 

There will be a repeat performance on Monday with afternoon instability showers. Temperatures will be slightly cooler along the immediate shoreline.

More organized rain and storm chances will arrive Tuesday into Wednesday as a front crosses the area. 

Skies will clear during the day on Thursday, and heat will build into the weekend.
