They were directed by Concordia University Conductor Richard Fischer, who says the experience is like one big rehearsal concert and is all about making music from the heart.

The performance was one of roughly 200 today in 80 different locations in the city - at places like the Lincoln Park Zoo, the Chicago Cultural Center and the Riverwalk.
