Son Of Former Bear Adrian Peterson Passes Away
(CBS) Former Bears running back Adrian Peterson's son AJ passed earlier this morning. Last June, AJ was diagnosed with an inoperable brainstem tumor known as Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).
This past January, the Village of Round Lake and the Make-A-Wish foundation made AJ's wish come true, swearing him in as an honorary Round Lake Police officer.
Peterson, who played for eight seasons in Chicago, made the announcement on his Facebook page, stating, "#Ajsoars is in Heaven, where he belongs... #ajsoar #P3#MyFirstSuperHero."
