SNAP Speaks Out On Dennis Hastert Case
(CBS) -- Priest sex abuse activists are speaking out on the Hastert case, reports WBBM's Bob Roberts.
The Survivor's Network founder Barbara Blaine says she is grateful for those who are cooperating with authorities in the Hastert case. She calls them heroes.
"When victims, whistleblowers, witnesses speak up and call police and help prosecutors file lawsuits and expose wrongdoers, then wrongdoing is prevented and kids are spared," Blaine said.
Blaine wants Yorkville police and school officials to be aggressive in their search for alleged victims and said any sexual activity between a student and a teacher is an abuse of power.
