Small Fire Reported At Macy's On State Street

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Fire crews rushed to the State Street Macy's flagship Thursday afternoon upon reports of a small fire.

The reports came in around 3 p.m. at Macy's, at 111 N. State St.

At the scene, there appeared to be minor fire damage to plastic sheeting along the wall. Construction or renovation work was under way near the escalators on the first floor.

The store remained open through the fire response.
