CHICAGO (CBS) -- In a sign that the super-popular New York burger joint Shake Shack is aiming to open in River North later this year, the company has posted openings for managers.

The job notice was posted in late March, and a company told Eater Chicago that they hope to open in the fall at the corner of Ohio and Rush Streets in River North. The space has been occupied by a Harley Davidson store for several years.

Shake Shack is all about burgers, hot dogs, fries and frozen custard.

The restaurant got its start as a hot dog cart in New York City. It opened its first actual restaurant in 2004 and now has locations in several states along the East Coast.

This is the first location in the Midwest for owner Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group .

Shake Shack's burgers and frozen custard care highly acclaimed, consistently ranking in several NYC "best of" lists.

It will face some stiff competition here in Chicago, which is known for dozens of top-notch burger restaurants.
