Tracking more really hot weather ahead for Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS) — After high winds swept across much of the Chicago area Sunday afternoon, passing light showers were possible Sunday evening.

Then, partly cloudy skies were expected overnight. Low temperatures will be in the low to mid-70s.

Monday will feature the hottest temperatures since last summer with highs in the upper 90s. Mostly sunny skies are expected with just a slight chance for a pop-up shower or storm.

Highs will remain in the 90s, although not as hot as Monday, for the remainder of the week. A pop-up shower or storm remains possible each afternoon through Thursday.
