Skies clear overnight; sunshine for Chicago Sunday

Temperatures fall as showers move through Chicago area

CHICAGO (CBS) — Skies will continue to clear Saturday night in the Chicago area. Expect plenty of sun for Sunday. 

A cold front will cross the area in the afternoon, bringing gusty northwest winds to 30 mph. The front will come through dry but usher in a cooler air mass.

Temperatures on Monday will be about 10 degrees colder than Sunday. 

Soaring temperatures arrive late in the workweek and stay through Father's Day with highs between 85 and 90 degrees.
