Scattered showers and thunderstorms Monday night in Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Rain continues Monday to start the week.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected at night with humidity and highs in the upper 80s.

The remnants of tropical system Beryl may bring a risk for heavy rain late Tuesday night into Wednesday. Flash flood threats are expected on Wednesday.

Heat returns by the weekend as highs move back to the 90s with heat index values near 100 degrees.
