Running Car Stolen On Near North Side, Recovered Empty On Near West Side

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police on Sunday recovered a car that was swiped on the city's Near North Side.

The car was stolen just before 1 p.m. in the 800 block of North Clark Street, near Chestnut Street.

Police said someone left the car running, and thieves jumped in and took off.

The vehicle was recovered near Washburne and Damen avenues on the near West Side. But the thieves got away.
