Man Drives 2 Miles After Being Shot In Roseland, But Later Dies; CTA Bus Also Hit By Gunfire
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man is dead after being shot in a car in Roseland Thursday.
At 3:43 p.m., the 28-year-old man was in a car on 100th Place near Michigan Avenue when he was shot in the back and torso, police said.
He drove more than two miles to 95th Street near Morgan Street, where paramedics took him to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. He did not survive.
Bullets from that same shooting also hit a Chicago Transit Authority bus, but no one on that bus was hurt.
