Derrick Rose Says Return 'Probably' This Week
(CBS) -- Injured Bulls point guard Derrick Rose told ESPN before Sunday's loss to the Cavaliers that he will "probably" return to the lineup this week.
Rose had surgery on his right medial meniscus on Feb. 27. Initially, the Bulls gave him a recovery timeframe of four to six weeks. Friday marks six weeks since the surgery.
Chicago plays Wednesday at Orlando and Thursday at Miami. After that, the Bulls host the 76ers on Saturday.
Rose did take full contact in practice last week. He's played in 46 of Chicago's 76 games this season. He's averaging 18.4 points per game.
