Search on for robbers who attacked men on street in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police on Monday issued a community alert warning the public about a string of robberies in the Bronzeville neighborhood last month.

In each incident, two men got out of a white sedan and approached a man walking down the street. The robbers struck each victim forcefully and took his property, police said.

In one incident, the robbers displayed a knife. The robbers were wearing black hooded sweat shirts and ski masks, police said.

The robberies happened at the following times and locations:

  • 6:50 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, in the 3200 block of South Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
  • 11:15 p.m. Saturday, Nov.  9, in the 3100 block of South Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
  • 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, in the 3200 block of South Michigan Avenue.
  • 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, and 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, again in the 3100 block of South Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
