Report: Samardzija Lists Lakeview Condo For Nearly 700K
(CBS) Cubs right-hander Jeff Samardzija -- whose future with Chicago is cloudy as he and the club have failed to reach a long-term contract agreement -- has listed his Lakeview condo for $695,000, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Samardzija bought the three-bedroom, 2,500-square-foot condo for $710,000 in 2008, the Tribune reported.
The 29-year-old Samardzija has been named the Cubs' starter for the opener Monday at Pittsburgh. He went 8-13 with a 4.34 ERA and a 1.35 WHIP last season. Samardzija has said he won't address he and the Cubs' contract negotiations with the media during the season.
