Report: Bulls Targeting Trade For Nuggets' No. 11 Pick

(CBS) The Bulls are interested in trading up and acquiring the Nuggets' No. 11 pick in draft later this month, with an eye on selecting Michigan sharpshooter Nik Stauskas or Michigan State wing Gary Harris, ESPN.com reported.

Chicago has reportedly offered its 16th and 19th picks for Denver's No. 11 pick.

Stauskas is an elite shooter, and he greatly improved his ability to put the ball on the floor during his sophomore year at Michigan, though it remains to be seen how that skill will translate to the pros.

Harris is a quality defender who can knock down mid-range jumpers and is capable of creating his own shot, but he's a respectable shooter, not an elite one, with a 35 percent 3-point shooting clip at Michigan State last season. Measured at 6-foot-2 1/2 without shoes on at the NBA Scouting Combine, Harris is also undersized for an NBA shooting guard.

Both Stauskas and Harris are projected to be borderline top-10 picks, and neither is expected to be around at No. 16. ESPN.com reported that Stauskas is the "likely" preferred choice between those two for the Bulls.

The downside of trading two picks to Denver is that it would handicap Chicago's ability to work out a trade for Minnesota star Kevin Love, as the Timberwolves would surely be interested in acquiring a pick in what's one of the deepest drafts in years.
