Repairs Underway At Newly Renovated Blue Line Stop After Water Leak
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Repairs are being made to a newly renovated Blue Line stop.
Last week, photos revealed water leaking through the glass canopy at the Belmont stop. Recent rain storms exposed leaks in a brand new, multi-million dollar CTA stop.
Construction on the $17 million dollar project wrapped in March.
The CTA said modifications to fix the leaks are already underway and should be finished in the next few weeks.
The canopy is under warranty, so repairs will be done at no cost to the CTA.
