Red Stars players say they're 'appalled' by report's findings of abuse by former coach

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago Red Stars players released a scathing statement in the wake of an investigation into abuse and misconduct in the National Women's Soccer League.

Players said they were appalled by the findings involving former Red Stars coach Rory Dames and support the board's move last week to oust majority owner Arnim Whisler for his involvement and what they call dishonesty.

The board made other changes as well, naming Kim Vender Moffat as chairwoman.
