Red Cross Installs Free Smoke Alarms; Here's How To Get One

CHICAGO (CBS)-- The American Red Cross will give you a smoke alarm and install it for free.

The American Red Cross responds to three to four house fires a day in Chicago and Northern Illinois.

To help prevent future fires, the Red Cross is making fire safety easy.

Red Cross of Chicago responded to 22 fires from Jan. 13 to Jan 20.
