CHICAGO (CBS) -- A warm front has passed through and we were at 63 degrees as of around 9 p.m.
Dewpoint temperature is 60 degrees, showing the different air mass that has moved in for the next several hours.
Gusty southwest winds to 25 mph continue to pull this mild, moist, and unstable air into northern IL. Storm threat stays with us until the cold front clears the area.
Stronger storms are expected over Iowa. Concerns here would be for some marginally severe hail with the strongest cells.
