Police: Man Wanted For Stabbing Roommate In Hyde Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago police are searching for aman in connection with a stabbing Friday night in Hyde Park.
Police say Ross Jacobs stabbed his 27-year-old male roommate multiple times, inflicting serious injuries. Jacobs then fled the apartment, police say.
Jacobs is a 27-year-old white male. Police describe him as 6'2" and weighing 190 pounds with curly brown hair, mustache and goatee. Police say he frequents coffee shops near the University of Chicago campus.
A spokesperson from the University of Chicago confirms Jacobs is a former student and was last enrolled in 2013.
Police say to call 911 if Jacobs is seen and not to approach him as he may be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8380.
