Police Release Sketch Of Suspect Who Sexually Assaulted Boy In Restaurant
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police were asking the public to help them identify the attacker who sexually abused a boy in a Little Village restaurant's washroom Saturday.
The sketch released Thursday by the Chicago Police Special Investigations Unit shows a man who's Hispanic, between 25 and 40 years old, light-skinned, has a black mustache, and has numerous tattoos on his arms.
One tattoo takes the shape of a knife above the Spanish word "que" between two lines. A second tattoo might depict a dog.
At the time of the attack, the suspect wore a black baseball cap, and a blue- or green-colored long-sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up. He escaped in a small green car.
The attack occurred as the victim ate dinner with his family at the Great China Buffet, on the 2500 block of West Cermak Road.
Police said parents can prevent a similar attack by accompanying their children to the washroom.
If you have information that could help police, call 911 or Special Investigations Unit detectives at 312-492-3810.
