Police Question Person Of Interest In Englewood Bank Robbery

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Police were questioning a person of interest in connection with a bank robbery Thursday evening in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

About 4:45 p.m., the man walked into the bank in the 800 block of West 63rd Street and gave the teller a note demanding money in a bag, police said. He then made off with an unknown amount of money.

No one was injured in the robbery, police said.

Police said a person of interest was being questioned in connection with the robbery Thursday night.
