Police: Man Tried To Lure Girl Into Car In Little Village
(STMW) -- Police are warning residents about a man who tried to lure a 14-year-old girl into a car Wednesday morning in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
The girl was trying to cross the street in the 2600 block of West 21st Place about 7:50 a.m. June 3 when the man used his car to block her path, according to a community alert from Chicago Police. He tried to lure her inside, at which point the girl ran away.
The suspect is described as a heavyset Hispanic man between 30 and 40 years old with a goatee, a bald head and a medium complexion, police said. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt.
He was driving an older model tan, four-door car, according to police. The car's interior was also tan or light-colored.
