Police: Man Shot To Death At Chatham Gas Station

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man in his 20s was shot to death early Saturday in the South Side Chatham neighborhood, according to Chicago Police.

About 1:45 a.m., officers responding to a call of a person shot at a gas station in the 8200 block of South State found him in a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. He was dead at the scene, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner's office did not immediately have information on the death. The circumstances of the shooting were unknown.

Another man was fatally shot eight blocks away in the same neighborhood about three hours earlier.
