Police: Man Killed In Little Village Shooting

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot to death Saturday morning in the Southwest Side Little Village neighborhood.

The 20-year-old was standing on the sidewalk about 10:15 a.m. in the 3100 block of West 24th when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired at him, according to Chicago Police. The vehicle then drove away.

The man was shot in the chest, abdomen, back and arm and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said. He was pronounced dead at 10:41 a.m.

The Cook County medical examiner's office could not immediately confirm the death Saturday morning.
