Police: Man Fatally Shot On Near West Side
(STMW) -- A 20-year-old man was fatally shot early Saturday on the Near West Side, police said.
Officers responded to the 1000 block of West 14th Place about 2:10 a.m. and found the man unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The Cook County medical examiner's office could not immediately confirm the death Saturday morning.
