Police Investigating Suspicious Package In River North

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police are investigating a suspicious package hat has streets closed in the River North neighborhood.

The suspicious item was reported on West Illinois Street, between Clark and State, about 10:30 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Bari Lemmon said.

The Bomb and Arson Unit and a K-9 unit are on the scene investigating as of 12:30 p.m., Lemmon said.
