All Clear At O'Hare After Suspicious Package Report Snarls Traffic
(CBS) -- Traffic at Terminal Three at O'Hare Airport is moving again after Chicago police and fire units were on the scene of after a report of a suspicious package.
For about an hour Tuesday evening, traffic in and out of the terminal ground to a halt as authorities investigated. Around 8 p.m., the all clear was given and traffic began moving again.
The suspicious package was identified as a rice cooker which was left on a garbage can. After investigating, police say it did not pose a threat.
