Police Find Two Dead In Garfield Park Garage
(STMW) -- Two people were found dead inside a Garfield Park neighborhood garage Thursday afternoon.
Nicolette Medina, 25, and Marco Acevedo, 31, were found unresponsive in the garage about 3:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of West Gladys Avenue, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Medina, of the 3700 block of West Lawrence Avenue, and Acevedo, of the 2400 block of West Haddon Avenue, were pronounced dead at the scene at 4 p.m., according to the medical examiner's office.
Autopsies for the two are scheduled for Friday.
Area North detectives are conducting a death investigation.
