Police activity disrupts multiple Metra lines during Wednesday evening rush

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police activity disrupted multiple Metra lines in Chicago during the evening rush Wednesday.

Metra Union Pacific West and Milwaukee District West trains were stopped at the Ogilvie Transportation Center, and Milwaukee District North trains were stopped at Union Station, due to the unspecified police activity.

The trains were stopped in both directions during the disruption. They later resumed, but with extensive delays.
