Police: Fight At Party Near Glen Ellyn Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured
(CBS) -- The DuPage County Sheriff's office is investigating a death at a party near Glen Ellyn last night, reports WBBM's Nancy Harty.
Two people were hurt, one of whom died after a fight at a party in unincorporated Glen Ellyn, according to the sheriff's office.
In a statement, the sheriff says deputies responded to a call around 10:30 p.m. in the 2 North 200 block of Prairie Ave.
The sheriff's office is not releasing the victim's name until the notify relatives.
CBS 2's Dana Kozlov spoke with neighbors who believe 80-100 people were fighting in the street. They say that the house has been a source of concern for about a decade, with lots of parties and police calls.
The sheriff says it it appears to be an isolated incident and poses no threat to the community.
