Plane Lands Safely At O'Hare Without Nose Landing Gear

(CBS) -- A plane flying from Grand Rapids to Chicago landed safely at O'Hare Airport Saturday afternoon after landing gear in the plane's nose apparently failed.

GoJet Flight 3645, which is operated by United, landed at 3:24 p.m., according to Karen Pride with the Chicago Department of Aviation.

According to a statement from GoJet airlines, the passengers and crew were unharmed and were able to exit the plane from the main cabin door. The plane, a Bombardier CRJ700, was carrying 37 passengers and 4 crew members.
